This isn’t true, my university gives out the left over sweet treats at the end of the day and I promise you we still buy the products in the day just out of convenience.
Either way, one is better than the other
I'm not defending Krispy Kreme for making too many donuts, but I assume it's not always easy to predict what you'll need. But consider:
If Krispy Kreme kept the donuts till the next day, they'd be stale.
If Krispy Kreme gave away the donuts free that night, then who would buy them?
If Krispy Kreme donated them to shelters and homeless, then they'd be liable if anything went wrong, in the litigious society we now have.
It's lose-lose for Krispy Kreme.
That said, I am not actually a fan of Krispy Kremes. I prefer the many mom-and-pop donut shops I used to patronize in Texas, which in keeping with Texas law, were all run by Koreans.
Lost my wallet in a Dubai cab and didn’t even file a complaint.
The driver handed it to the police, and they tracked me down in under an hour.
When I checked the wallet, only 20 AED was missing (even though it had 500 AED).
I was shocked… then realised maybe that was just the taxi fare.
Respect for honesty and system efficiency. 🇦🇪
Has anyone ever committed suicide by going to a shooting range to rent a gun and just blowing their head off? Realistically, what is stopping someone from doing that. This feels like a fool-proof method.
