After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.

I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.

It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.

🇸🇦 A 78-year-old man was admitted to a private Saudi hospital after collapsing from fatigue. He was placed on oxygen for 24 hours, and Alhamdulillah, he recovered soon after.

When the doctor 👨⚕️ handed him a bill of SR 2,000, the man began to cry. The doctor gently said, “Please don’t cry, I’ll pay the bill myself.”

The elderly man replied,
“I’m not crying because of the bill — I can afford it.
I’m crying because I just realized that I’ve been breathing Allah’s air for 78 years, and I never paid a single riyal.
If 24 hours of oxygen costs SR 2,000, then how much do I owe Allah for a lifetime of His blessings?”
