Regular Ticket Checking both within the train as well as on the platform is something that can easily eliminate this problem. If not eliminate they can atleast solve it by 70-75%.
Travelling with these issues has become hell and it's more than discomforting to say the least
Man I am seriously so so done with the Central Railways.
Pay premium prices for services, and what do you get :
1. Company of ticketless travellers
2. Children running inside the train like it is some banquet hall.
3. Trains being delayed over 30 minutes at an average
@AshwiniVaishnaw@Central_Railway Please look at the ground reality of AC Locals at Dombivli.
No visible RPF presence, virtually no TC checking inside AC Locals, and many passengers travelling without a valid AC ticket because they know enforcement is missing.
What is the fault of passengers who pay a hefty premium for an AC service?
On top of overcrowding, AC Locals are also running late, adding further inconvenience to passengers who are paying extra for a premium service. Genuine passengers should not be made to suffer because of poor enforcement.
Please ensure regular ticket checking and proper RPF presence, especially during peak hours. We pay for a premium service—not overcrowding, unchecked travel and delays.

@mukeshvmakhija@Central_Railway@GM_CRly 7:15 AM AC local KYN to CSMT over 40 mins late today. Overcrowding preventing doors from closing, delays spilled over to normal local services too. Platform extn work is understandable, but starting trains from TNA instead of KYN has worsened the situation for daily commuters.
Dear @Central_Railway@GM_CRly , while data on fines collected and revenue generated may be encouraging, the situation during morning peak hours tells a very different story.
AC locals are extremely overcrowded, with inadequate checking and enforcement inside the trains. Due to this overcrowding, services are running extremely late, with doors remaining open from Diva till Thane, creating serious inconvenience and safety concerns for passengers.
Later, posting a few photographs of relatively empty locals by @drmmumbaicr@srdcmmumbaicr does not reflect the actual experience of daily commuters during peak hours.
I respectfully request that the focus be on ground-level enforcement and passenger safety, rather than selective photographs or statistics.
We pay for a reliable, safe and comfortable railway service, and we deserve nothing less.
As per CR’s previous notification, Titwala AC services were impacted till 1st September. Today is 2nd September, yet the situation continues—both AC services are still being operated from Thane instead of Titwala.
With 7:15 & 7:34 Kalyan–CSMT locals completely overcrowded after Dombivli, and unauthorised passengers entering AC coaches, this is causing genuine commuter hardship.
Everyday these AC locals are halting 5–6+ minutes at Diva, Mumbra & Kalwa. And today’s 10:25 AM AC cancellation adds to the frustration.
CR is playing with genuine passengers who pay a premium fare for AC service. This is clearly a case of poor planning, mismanagement and inadequate passenger-focused operations.
@Central_Railway@RailMinIndia@AshwiniVaishnaw
Titwala AC local should have been originated from Kalyan instead of Thane during the block. This would have genuinely helped passengers from the affected section and eased overcrowding at Thane. Running the service from Thane feels more like “just for the sake of operating it” than addressing actual passenger needs.
@Central_Railway@RailMinIndia
@drmmumbaicr Enough is enough, @Central_Railway#MumbaiLocal ! Pathetic service again today - trains running late. We daily passengers are wasting time & money. Because of this AC train is overloaded without ticket.
PAY MORE. GET LESS. SUFFER MORE.
How is this acceptable to a paying commuter?
AC locals are heavily overcrowded during peak hours, trains are always delayed, and there is hardly any proper ticket checking inside coaches.
When 30%+ passengers are travelling without valid tickets, genuine commuters who pay a premium fare are effectively being penalised for following the rules.
We pay higher fares expecting better service — not overcrowding, delays and unchecked ticketless travel.
This is not just disappointing; it is a complete failure of commuter service and accountability.

Completely mismanaged by @Central_Railway.
7:42 CSMT–Ambarnath local is displayed as 12C at all stations, but the train is actually running as 15C, with no announcements or proper indication.
This has caused several women to run towards the ladies coach, creating a serious safety risk. Who will take responsibility if any casualty occurs due to such negligence?

Unreserved coach means any passenger with a valid ticket can travel and occupy an available seat. No one owns a particular seat.
Sadly, seat disputes in Mumbai locals are increasingly turning into gundagardi and physical fights. Absolutely ridiculous! A seat is never worth losing basic humanity and respect.
@mukeshvmakhija@Central_Railway@drmmumbaicr 8. Last concluding point : Even if the CR does not add extra locals, the least I expect is them running the existing services on time along with regular ticket checks as it really gets difficult commuting daily with ticketless crowd and delayed locals.

@mukeshvmakhija@Central_Railway@drmmumbaicr 7. As you are aware we have 4 major AC locals in the morning 6.32-KYN-CST(F), 6.46-TL-CST(S),7.15-KYN-CST(S),7.34-KYN-CST(S) and then the next train is directly at 8.33 from Titwala, having an existing train run as fast or having 1 extra fast local can totally help in this case
@mukeshvmakhija@Central_Railway@drmmumbaicr Continuing point number 7:
The crowd was greatly managed when they ran the extra special AC local at 7.21 the other day, though having 3 back to back ACs are not helpful they could've converted one into a fast local and arranged them around the 8 am mark
