Today (28/5/2023) we celebrate the World Menstrual Hygiene Day by officially launching our social media platforms. One of our main objectives is to put an end to period poverty with the aim of keeping girls in school.
As we celebrated International Women's Day last month on 7th March 2026, I was honoured to receive an award in the Healthcare Category at the @zuri_awards by the Zuri Foundation

Last week on 19th and 20th November 2025, I attended a Menstrual Hygiene Symposium co-hosted by @UNFPAKen, @KEBS_ke, 100% for the Children and @SHFund__
Last week on the 23rd and 24th of October 2025, I was honoured to attend a two day Awareness Workshop on Menstrual Product Standards hosted by the Kenya BureauofStandards @KEBS_ke in Kisumu, KE.
We are humbled at how far we have come and we look forward to sharing the beautiful story behind this project!
We are forever grateful to the Boone Sunrise Rotary Club (NC, USAπΊπΈ) for the support!
Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld
This is a huge step towards ending period poverty, especially among the rural low resource settings where we work.
Starting from zero, we got some space, renovated it, made it a workshop/office and is now like a second home where we chase dreams as we serve the community.
ππ½ππ½ππ½Excited and honoured to be part of this extremely important and informative meeting.

The @KEBS_ke, in partnership with the Swedish Institute for Standards (SIS), is hosting the ISO/TC 338 Menstrual Products Meeting from 12th to 16th May 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya.
The event brings together global standards bodies and menstrual product manufacturers to explore how international standards contribute to the safety and quality of menstrual products. It also offers valuable insights on aligning manufacturing practices with global best practices to enhance consumer safety and product reliability.
Additionally, local MSMEs and international organizations within the menstrual products sector have been allowed to exhibit their products throughout the week, fostering knowledge exchange and enhancing visibility.
The meeting features a dynamic program of presentations from local and international experts, panel discussions, and thought-leadership sessions addressing key themes such as menstrual health, innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity in standardization.

Our participation as exhibitors is quite humbling given that we are just one month old in the industry and working towards getting our first Menstrual Product (reusable sanitary pads) approved by the Kenya Bureau of Standards.
We hope that in 2025, the marches will be having a different narrative- that of celebrating #zerofemicide. If not, we shall be on the streets to fight GBVβπΌβπΌβπΌ until things change!!!
Today is International Human Rights day and couples as the Last Day of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence 2024.

Team #endfemicideke organised several marches countrywide throughout the year with the two major ones in January and Today. It was disheartening to see the police fire teargas against the protesters today.
