@AEDS_ZW Yah the list of speakers there is rich. The fact that government officials and industry experts are having this gathering and platform to share ideas shows the direction our country is taking. This is really good.
Zimbabwe lithium producers plead for more time to complete beneficiation plants https://t.co/H17XsQSSWF via @NewZimbabwe.com SOME THINGS JUST DON’T MAKE SENSE: We have a CEO of an outfit in which Govt is the sole shareholder - Mutapa Energy Resources - a CEO who is also a Zimbabwean, loudly asking the shareholder to extend the lithium beneficiation deadline!!!!! Foreigners in the industry are quiet; his Chairman with full access to Govt - his Govt - has not approached govt to say the same; he elects to go atop the roof to suggest a revision of a policy which is in the national interest????? I can’t get it at all. Kana isu vene vezviro tisisu tisingagwinye, why do we expect foreigners to be enthusiastic about our deadlines?????😳😳😳😳😳
@PoliceZimbabwe This is good Commissioner General Sir. We want to thank Commissioner T. Nyazema for leading that project until it was completed. The government, Mashwest Community and the whole business community that participated may God bless you.
@NyaBeer263@BrianManwele@Jamwanda2@TafadzwaMugwadi@ChinotimbaChich I now understand. You are right because some breeders and suppliers are not honest. They take advantage of lack of knowledge of their customers and supply fake pondliners, poor quality fish feed and overpromise in terms of the returns. But the fish business itself is not bad.
So this weekend I was harvesting my fish in Buhera West. Haaa this is the right time to harvest fish-the price per kg is on the side of the Farmer. @Jamwanda2@TafadzwaMugwadi@ChinotimbaChich
@ZBCNewsonline This is good. The biggest challenge that the second republic faced and is still facing is the high level of expectation that they should solve all the problems of the past in the now. But the approach being used right now is good; that after roads and dams, we go to other areas.
Ethiopia is boosting its Green Legacy initiative by introducing the high-value "golden crop"—macadamia.
This climate-resilient tree offers farmers a permanent income source for generations, with studies showing intercropping it with coffee can increase earnings by up to 178%. By enhancing food security, generating foreign currency, and improving soil health, macadamia is set to become a cornerstone of Ethiopia's sustainable economic future.

@baba_nyenyedzi I am lost. Are we saying the idea of the Local Content Act is wrong or that it will not yield the intended results? What is the alternative?
