Our most prestigious award, Driver of the Year, went to @MCDOTNow Ride On's Luis Reyes Flores, for saving a passenger's life on board his bus in August 2024, by calling 911 and administering resuscitation. Above and beyond the call!

It was an honor to be invited to speak at the Frederick County United Way to talk on the importance of partnerships in addressing Transportation Access issues. They and the public and non-profit community transportation community in Frederick are doing great work!

Yesterday, at the 2025 CTAA Roadeo in San Diego California, Garrett County's Joseph (Matt) Paugh became the first national champion from our state since 2009. Competing in a combined driving course skills challenge, simulated pre-trip inspection, wheelchair securement, and written exam against nearly 60 of the nation's best drivers, Matt achieved the highest overall score of any driver competing in either the 35 foot bus or body on chassis division. Matt was also awarded with CTAA's prestigious Driver of the Year award, matching the Maryland one he received in 2017. Matt Paugh has also won the Maryland State Roadeo hosted by TAM six times, including the previous five in a row. Congratulations Matt!
