Last month, our Sunflowers attended the 2023 TACHE State Conference in Houston, TX, where our members Alicia Garcia Wong, Galilea Galvan Juarez, and Jeimy Martinez presented a panel dedicated to their experience on being Educated Latinas as first generation students. @TAMUC_LEO
On May 2nd, our Sunflowers attended the Women’s History Month kickoff event at TAMUC, where our member Alicia Garcia Wong assisted as a moderator and was showcased among other encouraging faculty and staff who shared their story. Congratulations to these amazing women!🌻 #TAMUC
We want to congratulate our ¡MDA! members who attended the nationwide 2023 USHLI conference in Chicago, Illinois. This conference had the purpose to empower and uplift the future Latino youth in America. We would like to thank the @tamuc_IEL office for providing this opportunity.
