@HoodieRamey He's here because Lamar couldn't get it done. And no one in Baltimore blames Lamar for anything, so they fire a SB winning coach, to let a guy who will never sniff a SB continue to punk out in the playoffs. (if they even get there)
@CoinyeJWest I only differ with you in what we consider playoff success. I think he doesn't have what's inside to win in the playoffs. BUT, he is by far the most physically gifted QB in the league, and I think his arm is even better than his legs.
@CoinyeJWest I thought Peyton Manning won a SuperBowl or two. Talent wise, you have no argument from me. He is the best dual threat QB in the league today. You seem like a stat guy, so you don't factor in heart or mental toughness which is something that Lamar lacks
@CoinyeJWest Oh please. How has that worked out for him? He doesn't win. The apologist will blame everyone else. It seems when the Ravens win, it's because of him. When they lose, it's Harbaugh, or the Kicker, or the refs, or the media. Everyone but Lamar.
@RoadToSix Being in Dallas, Dak was always trailing (sometimes badly), putting up a lot of meaningless passing yards to pad his gaudy stats. I remember a day when the Cowboys were about winning SuperBowls. Kind of Sad to see where they are now. Kind of irrelevant.
@BmoreGraven The Ravens are not sniffing SuperBowl as long as Lamar is behind center. I can almost guarantee they will win another when they move on from him
@_Nonballknower I'm not arguing that. It's got nothing to do with the Eagles at all. If the Eagles are 17-0 or 0-17 that does not change what you have now in 5. He peaked very early.
@BmoreGraven Lamar behind center in a big time game doesnβt usually work out very well. Heβs Mister MVP β-win the game early βhe gets credit when they win but losses are always someone elseβs fault
@_Nonballknower EXACTLY the same. Commanders fans were mouthing off before last season how he was going to be the MVP last year. How did that work out? He's done. Start looking at the colleges and draft a QB. You're gonna have a high pick
@KevinOlmsted1 So if a QB, like a Lamar Jackson, has crazy stats in the regular season and win a lot of games, but has a tendency to play poorly and lose in the playoffs, then that is ignored entirely because his stats say otherwise?
@BillyMateo85@loebsleads Yeah, but you are gonna have to blame someone when Lamar comes up small in a big game. Start thinking. Because YOU KNOW deep down, it's gonna happen. You can't blame Harbaugh for this one.
@KevinOlmsted1 Do you acknowledge that some guys play bigger when the spotlight is on? Do you acknowledge that some skilled individuals might not have the mental make up to play in a big game? or are you all stats 24/7?
@KevinOlmsted1 In the regular season (at least up until December), most people would want Lamar as their QB. He's the most talented. But when the games count, I'd take a dozen or more guys that I'd want on the field. You do know there is some psychology in the game? Some guys get the YIPS.
@KevinOlmsted1 Dan Marino is a better QB than Nick Foles. But in that one game, the Super Bowl, I'd rather have the game that Foles played. Some guys can play above their heads when it counts and some guys shrink. It doesn't make Foles better, but it makes Foles a winner.
@BillyMateo85@loebsleads Harbaugh isn't there any more. My advice to you, and the rest of the Lamar apologists, is to find someone now to blame when Jackson chokes in the postseason. Maybe the new coach, the GM, the announcers, the grounds crew. Anyone but Lamar.
