We had demanded a meeting with President Fry about the budget cuts, who directed our members to their Deans. Without substantive answers from either, we’ll be sharing our members’ questions here.
We deserve a voice in the future of our institution.

College & university faculty teach classes that transform students’ lives and run labs that result in lifesaving medical research. They create opportunity and strengthen communities. We must defend higher education, not defund it! @aaupnational @aftunion

Congratulations to Chris Rabb, our endorsed candidate, who won the US House of Representatives, Pennsylvania's 3rd District last night! Rabb is a former member of our union and one of our staunchest allies, and we couldn't be happier that he's headed to Washington! ✊

On Monday, our newly elected Executive Committee met for the first time to start planning the work ahead. We talked through priorities for the summer and how we can keep building a stronger union.
💪 It’s going to be a busy few months, but we’re ready!
We’ve reached a resolution with Temple University. After TAUP filed a grievance, 8 clinical adjuncts in CPH will receive pay corrections, and CPH plans to pilot a more transparent pay model for these faculty.
Solidarity Forever!
Thousands of Philadelphians took to the streets on Friday to fight for a city that puts workers over billionaires! The next 250 years are for us! ✊️

Rep. Rabb is a former member of our union and one of our staunchest allies, and we believe he will best serve the interests of our union, Pennsylvania, and the United States.
Higher education is a public good, not a political football. It's time to make our voices heard and demand our elected officials protect this vital institution. Add your voice to ours! Tell Congress to invest in our future. @aftunion @aaupnational
