@TAUi_Students People had family members who died and went back for a funeral. And after all that, people need to pay $500 for a quarantine in a shared apartment with strangers, while they have their our own apartments in Israel! It is outrageous!!

@M_Niezna @ayushmanbhagat @TelAvivUni @SegelUnion @orlybarlev @HRM_Israel @HilaShamir Well, as far as we know the MOH gave the requirement that the University is responsible for the quarantine of their student. And TAU turned it into the rule that we have to go to the dorms and pay $500 for it.

Thanks for taking an interest. The issue is that int. students on a A2 visa have to quarantine in the dorms independently of whether they have a safe place in TLV to isolate in. This mandatory quarantine costs $500, more than most students can afford.
