Ahead of our walk to school week @StJamesChorley we our @StJamesYear6 school ambassadors have delivered an assembly about the benefits or walking, cycling or walking and striding to school. #livingstreets
Our new water equipment is by far our favourite activity. The children have worked together, connecting pipes and brackets then pouring and catching the water into buckets. 🪣💦 😊
We couldn’t quite believe it when the Beeman told us that we had beehives on our school grounds. So we went to see for ourselves this morning! Some of the bees had died over winter but we spotted the hive that still had bees living in it 🐝

Our very own Beeman (Mr Clark) came to visit us this week. We came up with some amazing questions to ask him and listening so carefully to all the information he told us.

Thank you Wendy and Chorley Library for letting us visit this morning. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed seeing and sharing so many lovely books 📚

In Maths we used our grabber hand to get some cubes then compare with a partner how many we had. We said who had more and who had fewer. We then worked out and explained how to make them equal
