@renoomokri You have made the point and reinforced my stand on poverty. Most people fail to make a clear distinction between wants and needs thus fail to set their priorities right. This does not apply only to individuals but also the so called developing countries.
Poverty is multidimensional. It takes varying dimensions, degrees of severity and forms but the worst of it is the relative poverty where you see yourself as poor because you feel that others are doing better than you.
Planning is a good tool for the achievement of Economic Development. Developing countries must engage it to come out of poverty. But worthy of note is the fact that we need more of searching for practical solutions to our development challenges than just planning.
