Joe Biden ended his presidency with:
2.9% inflation.
4.1% unemployment.
43k Dow Jones.
Manufacturing boom.
Gaza ceasefire.
Medicare D $2k prescription drug cap.
Infrastructure boom.
Fastest economic recovery.
Covid handled.
But go ahead, tell me he’s a bad president.
Four years ago, in the middle of a pandemic, we needed a leader with the character to put politics aside and do what was right. That’s what @JoeBiden did.
At a time when our economy was reeling, he drove what would become the world’s strongest recovery – with 17 million new jobs, historic wage gains, and lower health care costs. He passed landmark legislation to rebuild our nation’s infrastructure and address the threat of climate change.
I’m grateful to Joe for his leadership, his friendship, and his lifetime of service to this country we love.
Today we commemorate Juneteenth, but in Tennessee my Republican colleagues passed a bill banning schools from teaching students about the history of why.
The fight for true liberation continues and we must never yield to white supremacy.
HAPPY JUNETEENTH Y’ALL! ✊🏾🖤
It was an honor to join Ms. Opal Lee for her Walk for Freedom in celebration of Juneteenth. I proudly helped make Juneteenth a federal holiday, which Ms. Opal fought for. She continues to be an inspiration as we remember the past and fight for a better future for all Texans.
Mind you this "Christian artist" was never asked to design a wedding website for a gay couple, because at the time the suit was filed, she did not have a wedding website design business
there are people who have paid on their student debt for DECADES and wound up owing MORE. the loans are so predatory that they are meant to never be paid back. even federal loan interest rates are astronomically high. it’s a joke.
Texans need someone who can provide honest, pragmatic leadership. Ted Cruz has failed to be that someone and it’s time for a change.
Tune in to my discussion with @chucktodd to hear how my focus as your Senator will always be delivering for the people of Texas. https://t.co/jZ162Kzdh5
This is so sad. The fact that Bud Light chose to partner with her then basically hung her out to dry while conservatives literally called for her to be murdered is probably the most egregious example of rainbow capitalism.
When Roe v. Wade was overturned and an abortion ban became law in Texas, Ted Cruz called it “nothing short of a massive victory.”
He couldn't be more wrong.
Women and their doctors should make these health decisions, not politicians. https://t.co/bcpN8HovnT
*Five hundred* people drowned trying to reach Europe last week and it was covered but my god contrasting it to the coverage of this Titanic submarine is just appalling to see, so much more focus, experts on, analysis and interest from the public. Certain lives are so cheap to us
One year after Uvalde, the 19 children and 2 teachers we lost remain in our hearts and the fight to make our schools and communities safer continues. #UvaldeStrong
