This survey by @Scotbeerandpub says it all - Only 12.8% of pubs believe it is financially viable to open at 2m, in contrast 82% of pubs believe it is financially viable to open at 1m. 52.59% of staff in pub sector expected to be made redundant. This is 23,648 jobs in Scotland.
