@Britpopmemories@NFFC@nottm_forest And for the record…I LOVE The Cocteau Twins, I listen to them often. Firestarter is one of the greatest singles ever. I LOVE The Style Council (sometimes more than The Jam) and Ash have made some brilliant records. We were all dickheads at 19 eh? Cut a brother some slack lads 🤦🏼♂️
@Britpopmemories@NFFC@nottm_forest We’d decided previously when asked that we were gonna slag off whatever they played us. Then they played me loads of stuff I loved! I standby the Menswear takedown mind….😂
Are any Premier League footballers at all arsed this season? Fucking ketamine football. I truly hope this season isn’t a sign of things to come. Honestly, starting to sound like one of those playd aht ex’s saying football’s gone but Jesus Muhammad Elvis! Any fucking chance lads?
@Andrew_Chester It really has! The brand has suffered this season eh? Has apathy taken over? Has the money/ player power tilted the scale? I’ve watched every Forest game this season and every Liverpool game. The lack of desire on £150K a week is staggering. I can’t get past it.

This was the level of racism Barnes was facing midweek as Liverpool played Everton twice in a week.
It shocked loads of people on TV, the unparalleled amount of racist abuse which they’ve never seen before.
This is the best tribute to Robbo I’ve read.
He and Jonny had a special bond. They were like brothers.
If you want to understand why Robbo is so beloved, this explains it:

Robbo was the man.
He’ll always be known as our greatest ever player, but he’s beloved way beyond his footballing ability. He was a very special human being.
Everyone who met him is left with a story of meeting a warm, charismatic and heartfelt men who absolutely loved telling jokes and having a sing-song.
I was lucky to have some great afternoons with him.
This is from a few years ago when he’d come on the @NFFC podcast that @TBPFR, @_mattappleby, Jonny Owen and I did.
In every pub we went in, Robbo would start singing. People who knew who he was couldn’t quite believe what they were seeing. Forest’s best ever player, a two-time European Cup winner, leading every pub into raucous song. At 1pm.
The few people who didn’t know who he was were transfixed by the charisma of a man who’d only just walked in the door a second ago and got everyone singing along with him a moment later.
We all knew we were lucky to be having moments like this with him.
Not because of his status as a Forest legend, but because of his unique personality. Charismatic but unassuming. Irreverent but wholesome. He made you feel like you were home.
RIP Robbo. The world is less fun without you in it.
