The older I get, the more I realize that most people aren’t asking for much.
They’re just trying to catch a break.
Trying to make it to payday.
Trying to keep gas in the car.
Trying to keep food in the fridge.
Trying to keep everything from falling apart.
Exhaustion…. Sometimes it’s a sign that you’ve been carrying responsibilities, stress, heartbreak, expectations, and burdens that were never meant for one person to carry alone.
If you’re tired, maybe you don’t need another lecture about discipline.
Maybe you need grace.
I think a lot of people are walking around feeling guilty because they’re tired.
They think they should be doing more.
Working harder.
Showing up better.
But sometimes exhaustion isn’t a sign that you’re failing.
