Our very first community school reading club with our 6th form students after Covid.28 students from Shree Tika School, grade 8 will be in TBS every Wednesday starting today for the reading club.
Santa not just came to TBS but also made stops at our community partner schools to distribute presents to the children. A huge thank you to the TBS students and parents for the Christmas gift bags, this year we handed out 580 of them!
After 6 years teaching I’m not ashamed to say I had my first “I can’t do this anymore” moment, left the classroom and cried in the toilet 😢 hardest thing to pull myself together, go back in and continue to put on a brave face until the end of the day. Ughhhh
Well done to our Primary Community Ambassadors who read a poem at the assembly to commemorate Remembrance Day this morning. We spent some time reflecting on the meaning of personal commitment for the betterment of others, not just in the moment, but with consideration for future.
Today is Remembrance Day which is a memorial for those who have lost their lives in wars & other conflicts. Although traditionally acknowledged by the Commonwealth states, this day now acknowledges all individuals who have lost their lives defending our rights and freedom.
On Friday last week, our Principal, Ms. Drumm and our Community Admin Officer, Ms. Pandey visited Shree Tika Vidhyashram to handover the bed for their First Aid Room. Thank you to our staff, students & parents for the continuous support for fundraising for our community partners.
