Jude 1:17-21
A Call to Persevere
But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. ❤️
@billym2521@realJennaEllis Whatever,Calvinists are pretty solid in their understanding from what I’ve seen and it is ridiculous to call them evil. Still, Judas did not believe because he was predetermined to be doomed to destruction so that the Scriptures would be fulfilled. Let Scripture say what it says.
@realJennaEllis No, just read your Bible and let it say what it says. A literal translation. Pretty sure it was Dinesh (and you?) who was raised with the Catechism. The Bible says we were predestined, then we were predestined. Very easy really. She who has ears to hear, let her hear.
@billym2521@realJennaEllis To answer directly, of course not. Did God create some that could not be saved, yes Judas for one. Read John 17:12. He was the one “doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.” What is biblical prophecy if not the declared predetermined plan of God?
I never had the pleasure of meeting #Dolly but was out at #Dollywood on numerous occasions for work and pleasure as I serviced a few printers I sold their sign shop. Here’s one of my Appalachian gospel tunes I wrote while living up there. This one’s for you, Dolly.🕊️🙏🏼✝️❤️
@DineshDSouza Every sinner has used this “God made me this way” excuse to remain in sin and ignorance. Again, predestination does not cancel out personal choice. Both are Scriptural truths. God reconciles these truths according to his divine plan. We just need to pray, surrender, and let God.
@DineshDSouza To claim that Jesus coming to die for our sins was not predestined is also scandalous and unbiblical. If you read the opening line of Psalm 22, it becomes clear why Jesus said this on the cross, at least to those of us who understand the sovereignty of our almighty God.
@DineshDSouza I’m convinced that you cannot explain away this passage in Ephesians 1 without tying yourself in knots to say it means something other than what it says. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. 🙏🏼❤️
@DineshDSouza Now you are playing the Liberal game of projection, accusing others of what you are doing. I wonder if @realJennaEllis is going to condemn your personal attacks? 😆
@DineshDSouza No, it means God is making it rain. That is the problem, it’s not about you, Dinesh, but God. How can something be foreknown and not be predetermined, regardless of the cause?
@DineshDSouza What is prophecy, if not predetermined, foretold events?
We have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it,as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 2 Peter 1:19
@Beach_Bro_Flow@DavidLimbaugh@realJennaEllis Bizarre. We are in strange days for sure. Perhaps simply man’s sinful desire to put self over God, though God’s word clearly says it does not therefore depend on man’s desire or effort, but God’s mercy. Even so, come Lord Jesus. 🙏🏼
@realJennaEllis Jenna, you might want to PM your comment to Dinesh’s ego.
“Sound doctrine should produce humility, charity, and greater conformity to Christ. If your theology chiefly produces arrogance, belligerence, and a compulsion to dominate other believers…”
@realJennaEllis I’m not trying to debate and have no idea if I am even a “Calvinist.” I’m a Christian who believes in the inerrancy of God’s word and clearly the Scriptures proclaim God’s sovereignty, so don’t know where all this dumping on Calvinism is even coming from. God knows who are his.
@DineshDSouza Boy, you are really hung up on Calvinists. Now comparing them to Marxists? Have you ever heard of General Francis Marion, from a line of persecuted French Huguenots? Thank God I was predestined to see your dumb posts before buying your book. 💪😆🇺🇸
@DineshDSouza Just because God gives freedom to choose, does not negate God’s will. Whom God foreknew he also justified. Did Saul choose to be blinded by God and have God reveal himself to him? Do you believe intercessory prayer can move the heart of God who wants all to be saved?
@DineshDSouza It is true God is sovereign, and knows all. It is also true we have choice and free will. How these truths operate within the existence of good and evil and God divine plan is a mystery. -Psalm 139:13-16 ✝️🙏🏼🎶
@DineshDSouza Predestination does not void personal choice. Only God knows if you are deliberately choosing to place your inflated ego over the truth of God’s word. -Romans 9:6-22 💥🥊
