@danceonth3moon Due to Hopper’s story, Mike thinks Kali was shot in the lab. He theorized she had enough strength to help with El. He isn’t being rational, Kali would have died after the C4 blows up the lab she is in. For Mike’s theory to work Kali had to fake being shot and leave the lab.

@danceonth3moon Hop definitely told all of them what happened. Mike tells that story 18 months after the incident. Mike pieces this story together to help himself cope. El never had blood on her while fighting Henry. Kali never got shot it was an illusion, but Mike doesn’t know that.
