@LondonMACG @AvantiWestCoast One could take the opinion it should not be in service, and if you get off and catch another service, should claim for delay repay. If an advance the guard on your current service could endorse your ticket.
@AvantiWestCoast@TallyMae Are you suggesting they seek permission from staff or just advice? You could just share details here which companies you’ve arranged ticket acceptance with, so passengers have some written evidence
@Matthew79940523@AvantiWestCoast They’re good at hiding but if the station is open, a manager should be somewhere. You often have to kick up a fuss. Though often during disruption they hide. Regardless, they need to sort out alternative transport (or accommodation) good luck mate
@kou110527@AvantiWestCoast What Avanti won’t tell you here is that they are obliged to provide alternative transport or accommodation overnight. Hopefully you find someone at Piccadilly who can help you - ask for the station manager. More junior staff may feign ignorance too
@TPEassist hey. during Covid your cleaners used to clean properly, wiping surfaces and handles. Now they walk through and mostly just pick up rubbish. Did we eradicate all viruses, germs and dirt between now and then?
@HMRCcustomers Hi. I live in England. I pay in to a group pension via PAYE under Relief at Source. When calculating income tax, should by employer extend the Basic Rate tax band by my pension contributions, as to reduce tax due at 40%? i.e. £50,270 + pension contributions. Thanks
