"Exercise STEADFAST DUEL 2025 is the Alliance’s capstone Article-5 exercise focused upon the #defence of the Euro-Atlantic area. It is an exercise of many firsts: the full participation of #Sweden and #Finland, the exercising of the strategic & operational #warfighting system which includes @SHAPE_NATO, the three joint force commands, the theatre components (@NATO_AIRCOM, @NATO_MARCOM, @LANDCMD, #space, #cyber, special forces); and the activation of the regional plans in a 24/7 exercise.

Exercises at this level provide more than a mechanism to exercise and challenge the #warfighting system. They are an opportunity for #experimentation and development as the Alliance continues on its path of integrating advanced C2 systems & #technologies. We continue to increase convergence with the member states and integrate exercises such as AVENGER TRIAD, a U.S. 🇺🇸 tactical-level exercise, which expands the depth from the political to the tactical level.
