Ring paid somewhere between $8 and $10 million for a 30-second Super Bowl spot to tell 120 million viewers that their cameras now scan neighborhoods using AI.

The math is wild. Ring has roughly 20 million devices in American homes. Search Party is enabled by default. The opt-out rate on default settings in consumer tech is historically around 5%. So approximately 19 million cameras are now running AI pattern matching on anything that moves past your front door. Today the target is dogs. The same infrastructure already handles “Familiar Faces,” which builds biometric profiles of every person your camera sees, whether they know about it or not.

Ring settled with the FTC for $5.8 million after employees had unrestricted access to customers’ bedroom and bathroom footage for years. They’re now partnered with Flock Safety, which routes footage to local law enforcement. ICE has accessed Flock data through local police departments acting as intermediaries. Senator Markey’s investigation found Ring’s privacy protections only apply to device owners. If you’re a neighbor, a delivery driver, a passerby, you have no rights and no recourse.

This tells you everything about Amazon’s actual product. The customer paid for the camera. The customer pays the electricity. The customer pays the $3.99/month subscription. And Amazon gets a surveillance grid that would cost tens of billions to build from scratch, with an AI layer activated by default, and a law enforcement pipeline already connected.

They wrapped all of that in a lost puppy commercial because that’s the only version of this story anyone would willingly opt into.

Curt Cignetti will soon sign a new contract with Indiana that pays him at least $12.5 million per year.

But after digging into the numbers, Cignetti might still be the most undervalued coach in college football (and not for the reason you might think).

We all know what Cignetti has done at IU is remarkable — he turned a perennial cellar-dweller into the national championship favorite just two years after his arrival.

This has transformed IU's athletic department:

• Before the 2025 season even kicked off, ticket revenue for IU's football team had surpassed $13 million.

• Indiana announced a $50 million stadium naming rights deal with Merchants Bank.

• Fundraising has hit a record high, with billionaire IU alum Mark Cuban donating to the athletic department for the first time ever.

But that's the obvious stuff; Cignetti's real impact comes in the admissions office.

IU's football team is essentially a marketing vehicle for the university — 24 million people watched them win the Rose Bowl, 18 million watched them win the Big Ten Championship, and when College Gameday visited Indiana's campus last year, more than 2 million people watched a 3-hour commercial about the school.

This publicity is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and is having a real impact on Indiana's finances.

In 2025 alone, Indiana University set school records for total enrollment (48,626 students), freshman class size (10,127 students), first-year out-of-state students (4,697), and application volume (73,400).

But since IU can only admit so many students each year, they leverage the additional demand to 1) rotate the composition of their student body toward out-of-state students, and 2) become more selective academically.

Out-of-state students now account for about 50% of IU's total enrollment, with the school admitting a total of 4,697 new out-of-state students in 2025 — roughly 500 more out-of-state students than IU's previous record.

This is an important distinction because out-of-state students pay $30,000 more in annual tuition – $12,000 for Indiana residents versus $42,000 for non-residents.

If you multiply that by a four-year degree, these out-of-state students are worth $60 million more to IU than their in-state counterparts.

And since football success attracts more applicants, IU's admissions office can be more selective.

Indiana's Fall 2025 class had a median high school GPA of 3.94 — the highest in IU admissions history.

This creates a virtuous cycle.

Better sports → more applicants → better students → higher rankings. Higher rankings then lead to even more applicants, and, eventually, higher tuition revenues.

This is exactly what happened at Alabama with Nick Saban, and it's a big reason why Indiana is completely comfortable giving Cignetti new contracts every year.

Why I'm voting for Trump.

In 2015, I was not political. My book Gorilla Mindset had taken off beyond my wildest expectations. I was enjoying life, taking anabolic steroids, and traveling the world with my fiance while living off of a laptop. Life was good. During one of my midnight walks in Paris, I saw a newsstand glowing yellow. Some guy I saw on TV a couple of decades ago dominated the glass panes. Trump is going to win, I said to myself, and thought little of it.

I posted this to X (then Twitter), and was attacked. “You don’t know anything about politics.” It was a bunch of dorks going after me. I enjoyed the rush.

In 2015 I was one of a few people who could articulate the case for Trump. In 2016, we drove narratives that drove the fake news media crazy. We held the largest Inauguration party, the Deploraball. 60 Minutes had me on in 2017 to destroy me. They lost. Mueller investigated me and Jack Posobiec for our get out the vote drive. That’s how effective we were. I almost went to jail for driving out low-propensity voters. Most people new to me don’t know any of this, because by 2018, I had had my fill of Trump.

I sat 2020 out completely. I was at peace with sitting out 2020 due to an Achilles and Agamemnon situation. Those who did nothing got everything. I chose to sit at home and watch.

People with no understanding of history began calling me “Never Trump.” They vacillated from saying no one needed me in 2020, to calling it a great betrayal when my absence was felt.

What brought me back in 2024?

In a word, the last four years. This shouldn’t be a close election. This shouldn’t be a difficult vote.

Our border was left open. Criminal gangs have taken over small towns. Drug cartels have made billions of dollars trafficking children. Our tax dollars enrich people who sell children. How can one read a sentence like that without the full weight of the moment collapsing upon them?

If God is real, our country will be judged. And we will get what we deserve. God have mercy.

This is our final choice to stop the bleeding. If we win tomorrow, the work begins. If we lose, a different mindset will be required as a dark age not seen in American history will begin.

Freedom is not self-executing.

John Eastman was disbarred in California for writing a legal memo giving options to the President of the United States. Lawyers are not clients. They give advice. Clients make the call. This is Legal Ethics 101. Nevertheless, Professor Eastman had his livelihood stolen from him by the same people who protected serial fraudster Tom Girardi.

Trump himself has faced much, but these other cases trouble me far more.

Democrats will destroy this country if they win tomorrow.

The regime’s tactics targeting Trump receive all of the attention, but there are many other injustices large and small. Daniel Penny. Kyle Rittenhouse. Catholic moms who pray. Some goons acted out of line on January 6th, but 99% of the people prosecuted walked into an open door. Even as left-wing murderers destroyed cities and towns in 2020.

A vote for Harris is a vote to fund Hamas.

To many new Trump supporters foreign policy matters more than domestic matters. My feelings on this are conflicted and best left until after the election.

My family is Persian. Obama, Biden, and Harris funded the mullahs. This cannot be denied.

If you vote for Harris, you are committing an act of grave evil.

You are funding Hamas, child trafficking drug cartels, genital mutilation, and third-term elective abortions.

Don’t try to play the game of, “But I don’t support that!” Yes, you do. It’s what you are voting for.

Trump is not my God, and frankly, I don’t admire him the way others do. I’ve never asked to meet with him or talk to him. I don’t go to Mar-a-Lago. Ask around if I clout chase or try getting pictures.

I am Achilles. You may find this delusional, and that won’t offend me. It shows how vapid and clueless you are.

For me this fight is about my country, not one man.

I am voting against evil. I am voting for a way forward.

Election Persuasion Update:

Democrats are using the Mean Girls strategy of labeling Republican candidates as "weird" because Democrat policies poll so poorly.

It is a solid strategy for pleasing their base. Everyone can play because it requires no actual knowledge.

All the media puppets are repeating the "weird" accusation in a super creepy zombie way while pretending they are having original thoughts.

Republicans are countering by pointing out that batshit crazy Democrat women -- who are disproportionately being treated for mental health issues -- are a danger to civilization, and the Democrat men who are controlled by the crazy women are barely male.

And it isn't even August yet.

Los Angeles Country Club is one of the world's most exclusive golf clubs.

• $250,000 initiation fees
• No celebrities or social media posts

And they use a 45-year-old tax loophole to save $80 million annually.

Here's how it works:

LACC sits on 320 acres in the heart of LA.

It's one of the country's nicest (and strictest) country clubs.

They don't allow celebrities to join, and every new member is handed a 1,000+ page rulebook.

LACC Rules
• No shorts (tailored pants only)
• Sport coats in the clubhouse after 6 pm
• No changing shoes in the parking lot
• No headphones, earbuds, or athletic clothes
• No photos or videos of the club on social media

Members can also only make phone calls from their parked car or a phone booth in the locker room.

And the club is so exclusive that many of the world's best players are seeing it for the first time this week.

Rory McIlroy, for instance, hasn't paid for a round of golf in 20 years. But he had never played LACC before this week's US Open, so he says he prepared by watching videos of the course on YouTube.

Still, the craziest part about LACC isn't its $250,000 initiation fee or its 1,000+ page rulebook.

The craziest part about LACC is its real estate.

The 320-acre piece of land sits smack dab in the middle of Beverly Hills — between the famous roads of Sunset Blvd, Wilshire Blvd, and Santa Monica Blvd.

The land alone is reportedly worth $8 billion, making it the second most valuable piece of real estate (not developed for housing) behind Central Park in NYC.

But here's the craziest part...

An $8 billion assessed land value would typically mean hundreds of millions in property taxes alone.

But LACC only pays $220,000 in annual taxes.

This is because of two rules:

1. LACC is owned by its members and registered as a non-profit. So they benefited when California voters passed a ballot in 1960 that lowered the value at which officials were allowed to assess non-profit golf courses.

This non-profit rule also applies to other LA-based golf clubs, like Bel Air Country Club, Brentwood Country Club, and Wilshire Country Club.

2. Then, in 1978, voters passed Proposition 13. This new law rolled back the assessed land value to its 1975 level and more or less froze that value in time.

So even if the market value of the land tripled in value, the property's assessed value can only grow by 2% a year or the rate of inflation, whichever is lower.

And Proposition 13 also capped property taxes at 1% of assessed value (vs. the previous average of 2.67%).

So, in simple terms, Los Angeles Country Club would be paying about $80 million (1%) in annual property taxes because its land is worth $8 billion-plus.

But because of these two laws enacted more than 45 years ago, LACC’s land is currently assessed at just $22 million, and they only pay $220,000 in property taxes.

• Annual property tax savings: $80 million

Now, Proposition 13 wasn’t put in place specifically for golf courses — its true purpose was to protect homeowners who are older, retired, and living on fixed income from payment shock when their property values dramatically increase over a short period of time.

But given the financial savings it has provided exclusive golf clubs over the years, it’s no wonder why Los Angeles Country Club wants to keep things exactly as they are.
