The key is, if you’re going to pursue gaming as a career, be realistic. Just like in traditional sports, the chances of becoming a pro competitor are small. Get help evaluating your options and be open to other careers in the industry, like coaching, producing, developing, etc.

Value of a past time isn’t measured solely in its ability to provide an income. I love wood working and cooking, but I’m not going to pursue either professionally. Video games have given me endless hours of entertainment and keep me connected to siblings across the country.

Would love some clarification as to whether similar sessions will be offered to pros in other regions. Seems like all players could benefit from learning the skill-sets being discussed here.

Encouraged to see professional education being offered to players in EU and NA. One of biggest downsides from loss of Academy teams (besides lack of salary and housing support) has been fewer opportunities for upcoming players to learn what's required to be an esports pro.
