🚨CALLING ALL TC STUDENTS, FACULTY, STAFF, AND ALUMNI
TC’s ongoing silence about the Palestinian gen0cide that has been going on for 130 days as of today has been shameful and despicable. It’s been four months since we made our initial demands...
REPOST
Leqaa Kordia is a Palestinian woman from NJ who was arrested by ICE after protesting the genocide in Gaza, where over 200 of her family members have been killed since October 2023. She’s since been held at an ICE facility in Texas for over 156 days. We demand her release.
Generations of Columbia students, alumni, and community members protested outside of today’s commencement, burning their diplomas in an act of defiance. Protestors remained valiant in the face of the NYPD’s SRG unit, who arrested two individuals at the demonstration.
Take a look — even this short clip is remarkable.
The Trump admin claimed they didn't need a warrant to arrest Mahmoud Khalil because he wasn't cooperating & was gonna flee. They even called him a "flight risk."
Who ya gonna believe? The government, or your own lying eyes:
ALL OUT TO COLUMBIA, WEDNESDAY AT 10:00 AM 🔥
We say firmly: there can be no graduation as usual while Columbia University remains complicit through providing investment, research, and ideological cover to genocide while repressing those who stand on the right side of history.
NEW: Mohsen Mahdawi, a Palestinian student at Columbia University who was arrested and attempted to be deported by the Trump administration, receives his degree during a commencement ceremony at the university this morning.
Mahdawi, wearing a keffiyeh, bowed to the cheering crowd and thanked them. He is currently out on bail, after a federal judge likened his arrest to McCarthy-era crackdowns.

Columbia University Acting President Claire Shipman welcomed to Columbia College's graduation ceremony with sustained jeers and boos.
Minutes later, students break out in loud chants of "Free Mahmoud":
ALL OUT TO COLUMBIA TOMORROW, MAY 21
Columbia University, 116th/Broadway
Wednesday, May 21st
10:00AM
WEAR A MASK! GET LOUD! BRING NOISE!
NO COMMENCEMENT AS USUAL UNDER GENOCIDE
Claire Shipman couldn’t finish her graduation speech today over the cacophony of boos in the crowd. Columbia graduates drowned her out with chants of “Free Mahmoud" in honor of their classmate in ICE detention, a move facilitated by the Columbia administration under Shipman.
🚨ALL OUT TO COLUMBIA: Actionists have been kettled by public safety and violently arrested by cops as they try to maintain the Basel Al-Araj Liberated Zone. To those on campus: rally in front of Butler. Everyone else: see you at 116th and Broadway.
We know this moment is fleeting, and that we do not have the capacity to hold it permanently at this time. But one day, this entire building and all the knowledge it holds will be liberated for good, and every book will belong to the free children of the world.
Zionists have destroyed a city that stood for thousands of years. Thousands. Israel's guiding logic of elimination is on full display for the world and that world is busy trying to help it put out wildfires that are a direct result of trying to cover ethnic cleansing.
Babies can't eat anything but milk from their mothers or formula. Even giving them plain water can cause water intoxication, and they can't digest solid food at all.
So banning formula IS intended to kill children. It is a move deliberately targeting children.
