@soxmachine_josh@mrhonorama They don't, it's true, but also don't forget that there's one fewer cheap rookie year left for Fields than there was when Lance got traded
(I still would have expected more)
@RottenInDenmark Also in that book was the parable of the fox (who knows many things and applies many approaches to problems) and hedgehog (only knows 1 thing, uses it for all) and said we need more hedgehogs
And then started saying "data science solves everything, no need for other disciplines"
@HogeAndJahns question for the next mailbag: if the Bears keep Justin, what kind of contract do you think he's looking at? I've assumed he will at least get the Daniel Jones, because I think Justin is better; but I'm not sure I want to pay him 40 mil a year
@lizzwinstead@edroso Like I'm pretty liberal on having abortion be legal late because otherwise it's hard for pregnant people to get them for medical emergencies and I know some pregnancies go longer than normal buuuuuuuuuut.....
@RobertZeglinski Interior OL is definitely more important than OT imo. Agree on WR unless someone finds out where Mooney has been hiding. TE I'm ambivalent on. Edge needs to be found somewhere at some point too, draft or elsewhere. Eddie Jackson might need to be replaced too
@RobertZeglinski I feel like the last time that happened was the 2010s Bengals with Andrew Whitworth and Andre Smith, and uh, that was not particularly impressive results!
The idea that Ds should have bailed out McCarthy is a codicil of the larger logic of DC punditry in which R bad behavior/destruction is assumed, a baseline like weather, and Ds managing the consequences of that behavior is a given. It’s part of DC being hardwired for the GOP.
