Okay, This has been burning my crock for a few weeks now. The guy on the left is Jeffery Northrup a Toronto policeman for 31 years, had a wife and 3 children. The ass hole on the right is Umar Zameer the Muslim man from Pakistan that intentionally took his life. Not fucking once has the media showed a picture of him nor have they said what origin of country he is from and very rarely say his name. Yet when the young 20 year old Canadian that killed a Muslim family in London last month, he was plastered all over the news every hour on the hour for weeks.
The people and the politicians were outraged across the fecking land! Thousands of people, almost every politician in Canada showed up for their funeral. As Canadians were told that we are racist by our own politicians, WE have to change. But what about Jeffery Northrup, a born and bred Canadian, a husband, a father. a man that went to work every day and put his life on the line to keep our sorry asses safe.
All I have ever heard out of anyone was, how tragic. BS! Something needs to change! Note: most of you will not share, like, love, show anger or even care because you have not got the fucking balls to! Why? Because of the fear of being called racist. How sad we have become. My rant for the day!

Carney and the Liberals drew their strongest support from Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada, and urban British Columbia. Those are exactly the places most exposed to the tariffs and the ongoing trade disruption: Ontario auto and manufacturing, Quebec dairy and aluminum-related sectors, B.C. forestry and wood products. Alberta and Saskatchewan (heavily Conservative) have been far more insulated because energy and potash largely escaped the hits.
Recent polling still shows Liberals competitive or leading in those exposed regions, but the economic pain — job losses in manufacturing and forestry, production cutbacks, uncertainty — is landing hardest on the voters and ridings that put them in power. The Prairies, where Liberal support is weakest, have had a relatively quieter ride on the tariff side.
That’s the awkward reality of the numbers. The campaign pitch was competence in dealing with Trump and stabilizing the relationship. More than a year later, the measurable result for large parts of the Liberal base is sustained pressure on their key industries while the regions that never backed them much feel less of it. Whether a last-minute deal this week softens that or not, the regional mismatch between political support and economic impact is already clear.

Think Solar panels are "Green"? think again.

Making solar panels requires toxic chemicals, huge amounts of energy and water, and creates toxic waste.

The common types (mono- and poly-crystalline panels) need extremely high heat at every stage of production. For example, temperatures of 2,700°F to 3,600°F are required just to turn sand-like silicon dioxide into usable silicon. Up to half of that silicon is then wasted when the thin wafers are cut.
For every 1 megawatt of solar panels produced: About 1.4 tons of toxic chemicals are used (including hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and hydrogen fluoride).
Nearly 2,900 tons of water are needed.
8.6 tons of pollution are released—most of it from powerful greenhouse gases (SF₆, NF₃, and C₂F₆) that trap heat thousands of times more effectively than carbon dioxide.
Other dangerous waste includes toxic gases like trichlorosilane and silicon tetrachloride, plus harmful dust from the cutting process.
The thinner “amorphous” or thin-film solar panels are made with cadmium, a chemical known to cause cancer and damage DNA.
By the end of 2016 the world already had about 250,000 tonnes of discarded solar panels. That was just 0.5 % of all electronic waste produced that year.
The International Renewable Energy Agency estimates that by 2050 we could be throwing away 6 million tonnes of solar panels every single year, adding up to a total of 78 million tonnes. At that point dead solar panels could make up 10 % of all electronic waste, and the total amount of worn-out panels could be larger than all the electronic waste the world produced in 2018.
Recycling is often presented as the easy fix, but it isn’t. It still uses large amounts of energy, water and other resources, and workers have to handle toxic materials that eventually need to be disposed of. Right now only two commercial recycling methods exist for solar panels, and there are just a handful of facilities that can do the job anywhere in the world. #GreenEnergy
