FINALLY! After years of my life spent lobbying @janeohlmeyer the @IrishResearch €16,000 stipend will be raised to €18,500 pa. The total annual value of an award will increase from €24 pa to 27.5k backdated to January 1st 2021 for @tcddublin researchers. https://t.co/uu9a3amgyf

We have an opportunity @SimonHarrisTD to bring #Equality to Irish research by increasing the stipend salary so that @IrishResearch doctoral candidates match @scienceirel stipend salary of €18,500. Early career researchers in @tcddublin and across Ireland need this #Budget2021
Some positive news for @tcddublin and postgraduate nationally. The SUSI Postgrad fee grant will increase to €3,500 from €2,000 and more PGs will get an opportunity to return to postgraduate education with the decision to increase the income threshold from €31,500 to €54,240.
Thank You @tcddublin and @pjprendergast and @BredaWalls and Estates and Facilitues, @TCDbites and @TCDAbility for helping postgraduates (and undergraduates) who need a desk to take an online class. It means a lot to @TrinityGSU that this space exists as well as student jobs.
I will be retrieving essential research materials for you from the 1937 Reading Room and from Carrels in the Ussher and Berkeley on Tuesday 19th May at 10.30am. Also “Thank You” @tcdlibrary for extending book renewals to September 11th 2020 and waiving fees during this period.
