Playing baseball or softball at the park sounds like a fun idea! Just remember there could be electrical hazards to watch out for, especially at older ballparks. Be wary of broken or cracked conduit to lights and outlets. Learn more https://t.co/AuIGAYldEe #SafetyFirst #PlaySafe

Avoid attaching posters to utility poles. Staples, nails, tape, and various other items create safety hazards for our linemen when climbing the poles to perform maintenance. By respecting utility poles, you can help keep our communities powered and our linemen safe!

As the weather gets nicer, more and more people and families will be out. Just a reminder to keep kites away from power lines and fly them in an open space. #staysafe #concernforcommunity

If your farm equipment, or even vehicle, comes in contact with a power line, do you know what to do? Most generally the safest decision is to stay inside the vehicle until a utility worker tells you the line is de-energized. Learn more at https://t.co/VjpwZSsWtW .

The second Sunday in March triggers daylight savings time, when we set our clocks one hour ahead. It is also the best day to change the batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors - even if batteries are not dead.
