UPDATE: after 10% of the vote has been counted, Petersheim remains in the lead with 7 votes, Thornburg has jumped into 2nd with 6 votes, and Hazelrigg and seibert are in third with 5 votes.
UPDATE: with 10% of the vote, candidate Craig has conceded the election. Reports say he’s conceding early this evening in order to watch the Bachelorette.

NEW POLLING DATA: According to the latest exit polls, Candidate Evan Sapp is getting lower than expected support from teachers. Ella Gartman is receiving nearly universal support from the Band. Blake Pingeton is receiving balanced support from multiple demographics.
JUST IN: According to sources, Mac Thornburg has begun calling his biggest donors to tell them that he does not believe he will emerge victoriously when all the votes have been counted.
HAPPENING NOW: After seeing members of the Fallis-McIntosh campaign putting up last minute posters (after half the school has already voted), major donor Coach Bradley told a reporter, " Really?! They are putting up posters now? What a waste of my money!"
