At March’s Character Traits Assembly, our assistant principal Mr. Sakoda was recognized for his “sportsmanship” and read aloud as the Cat in the Hat for our kindergartners. Our TCK Scholars appreciate all he does to make this campus more inviting for everyone!

Lincoln Unified teachers were happy to receive such enthusiastic responses to our Music Assembly! Last Thursday, TCK students hummed and sang along to orchestral music from "Wonka." We look forward to seeing what other songs 4th - 8th Graders will master in our Strings class!
Our Cafeteria Team is always happy to help families! We provide FREE meals at TCK Monday through Friday for ages 18 and younger. Breakfast is served from 7:30 - 8 am, and lunch is offered from noon to 12:30 pm. These meals are available through June 28! #ChildNutrition

What does your ideal taco truck look like? This morning, our 6th Graders planned their own food service with menus containing tasty Mexican cuisine. Next week, Mrs. Bobrow's class will show what they've learned in geometry by building paper models of their taco trucks!

Students are making healthy, delicious meals in our after school program! Yesterday, TCK Scholars practiced cracking eggs, chopping garlic, and mixing vegetables with rice. These culinary lessons are an example of the many fun activities students can take part in through #ASES!

Our Spring Festival was a chance for students and their family members to get their faces painted, test their skills at shooting hoops or cornhole, and take home prizes. TCK staff, families and PTSA put so much love and care into this event that brings us together each year!
We are celebrating National Poetry Month throughout April! Students can check out a variety of thoughtful and creative poetry books in our library, and we are looking forward to a visit from Poet Laureate Jazmarie LaTour on Thursday, April 25.
