@meldewey_photos final response, and the last response of #TCLVirtualResidency ! Mel’s use of @1962AB’s paper investigates these fresh flowers using various media giving great results.
My final response for #TCLVirtualResidency with @TCLcollective using items from @1962AB#Printmaker.
2 pieces of Canaletto paper used for cyanotypes with fresh dog daisies, calendula and St Johns Wort. No.3 a drawing with ink & caran d'ache. No.4 tracing paper became a lino cut.
3rd response for #TCLVirtualResidency with @TCLcollective using the items from @paulahickeyart#fineartist.
Using the 'folded' paper & pipette!
Fresh flowers were added to the cyanotype, exposed for 4hrs resulting in an incredibly vivid outcome with ghostly shadows & highlights.
@1962AB and @sgwright55 are both printmakers who often use references to place and space within their work. This is reflected in Ann's response to the handmade paper sent by Sue.

My final response for #TCLVirtualResidency with @TCLcollective. @sgwright55 sent handmade paper. With one sheet I made a tiny pamphlet stitch #book of ink drawings and on the other a #linocut which printed almost as ancient symbols. Both pieces are inspired by Millennium Wood.
My response to @paulahickeyart 's dampened paper for #TCLVirtualResidency w/ @TCLcollective .Usually I print on damp paper! Here I used a direct method to make marks, ink with hawthorn and bracken leaves from Millennium Wood. The folded paper invited me to present it as 3D objects
For @sgwright's final piece for #TCLVirtualResidency, she layered up plant materials with pieces of Canaletto paper received from @1962AB and some rusty, inky steel etchingplates. Sue then boiled them up for several hours in vinegar and water to produce these gorgeous #ecoprints
@sgwright55’s 3rd piece for #TCLVirtualResidency also references #mapping. Sue used @paulahickeyart’s folded wet paper which she pressed between two steel etching plates, adding some iron filings and pins. Rust! She then etched it to create a print reminiscent of an antique map.
This is my response to cyanotype paper sent by @meldewey_photos
as part of @TCLcollective#TCLVirtualResidency. I really enjoyed applying this process to some of the folding techniques I have been working on lately. https://t.co/JqzpO9kEgF
These ink marks made by @paulahickeyart as part of #TCLVirtualResidency perfectly capture the delicacy of @CarolSowden ‘s artichoke seed carriers, which were used to create them.
This is my response to a collection of artichoke seed heads sent by @CarolSowden
as part of @TCLcollective#TCLVirtualResidency. I used one to fashion a fine-haired paint brush, and drew a series of horizontal lines. Exciting to test non-traditional materials.
