On Feb. 22, @TCNJAFAM is hosting Dr. Joshua Myers as the culminating event for Black History Month. Dr. Myers will be speaking on his new book, Of Black Study, an exploration of the ways that Black intellectuals arrived at a critique of Western knowledge.
@TCNJIntst Co-Director Dr. Zakiya Adair was featured on @WHYYNews discussing the expansion of AP African American studies in NJ schools. “I think it’s important for all students to understand the full range of American history, the full range of the Black experience,” Adair said.
New Jersey will soon expand AP African American Studies courses.
