Hope everyone has had a great first day back so far! Please enjoy these mind-blowing spirograph fractal images produced by our own Dr. Susan Schmoyer, which were on display at the joint meetings. The entire mathematical art exhibit can be found here: https://t.co/1Ts8nrP4Aq
Happy last week of classes everyone! For our final alumni spotlight of the year, we have Neel Kumtakar who is working as a data analyst at Samsung. Great work Neel!
Congrats to Dr. Nick Battista for receiving an NSF grant! His research aims to deepen our understanding of fluid dynamics and how it influences all sorts of small organisms, such as how coral catch their prey.
Dr. Jana Gevertz received the Society of Mathematical Biology’s Distinguished Service Award. This award honors service in the field of mathematical biology, service for the Society of Mathematical Biology, and contributions beyond achievements in research. Congratulations!
Dr. Matt Mizuhara received an NSF grant to fund his research on self-similarity on dynamical networks. Self-similarity manifests in real-world networks in multiple ways, from the the Internet, dendritic trees of neurons, and social and epidemiological networks. Congratulations!
This week we are spotlighting Michael Chiumento, who earned his undergraduate degree in applied mathematics, and is now a senior audit manager at Bank of America. Let's congratulate Michael on all of his successes!
Hello Everyone! We're starting a series putting the spotlight on alumni, faculty, and current students. First is Alum Tierney Baldwin who is attending law school after getting her Math degree here at TCNJ. Go Tierney!
