I’m not saved by how obedient I am, I’m saved because of Christs perfectly obedience, and his sacrifice by his blood. He purchased me, I’m not buying my way to him. You will never be good enough it’s time you accept that.

People want to justify themselves so badly by their works. Without faith, it’s impossible to please God. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things unseen. If you’re not assured you’re going to Heaven because Jesus took the punishment you deserve for all of your sins, you don’t have faith and all those good works you’re doing aren’t pleasing God at all

Let me get this straight. God gave us the law to show that we couldn’t keep it perfectly. Then He made it clear that salvation is a free gift we can’t earn. Yet somehow, we’ve turned it into a system of law-keeping just to hold onto our salvation. I just don’t get it, my dudes
