President @RTErdogan spoke by phone with National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The leaders discussed the Türkiye-Turkmenistan bilateral relations as well as regional and global matters.

President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye and Turkmenistan will increasingly enhance their cooperation, and that they will continue to take steps in this direction.

Inviting Mr. Berdimuhamedov to the 13th OTS Summit and the COP31 Climate Summit, President Erdoğan also wished him a happy birthday.

The leaders discussed the Türkiye-Germany bilateral relations, as well as regional and global matters.

Stating that we seek to enhance the Türkiye-Germany bilateral relations, President Erdoğan stressed the importance of continuing to take mutual steps to that end.

President Erdoğan expressed their expectation that during the upcoming NATO Leaders’ Summit in Ankara, a strong determination will be displayed in order for Europe to strengthen its own defense within the framework of NATO, and for the Transatlantic Bond to be preserved.

Drawing attention to Türkiye’s ongoing efforts to ensure that the Russia-Ukraine war ends with a lasting peace, President Erdoğan added that we are endeavoring for the resumption of the negotiations and the revival of the diplomatic process.
