We're not Russia. We're not China. So why do we punish peaceful protest so harshly?
6 out of 16 climate protesters see their sentences mildly reduced...
Fuelling the climate crisis, denying the climate crisis - both should be a crime - not peaceful protest to prevent it.
Wow!! This whole speech is INCREDIBLE:
Richard Gere, "We have a bully and a thug who is President of the United States…
But it's not just in the US, it's everywhere"
"Authoritarianism takes us all over"
"We have to be vigilant. We have to be alert. We have to be energetic. We have to be brave. We have to be courageous"
"And everyone who is watching this.. We have to be willing to stand up, tell the truth, be honest"
"There's a place in all of our lives for basic kindness, for basic love, and understanding"
DAMN RIGHT.
RT so every single American sees this.

🚨 BREAKING 🚨
Dr Patrick Hart, a practising GP sworn to help save lives, was today jailed for 12months.
The list of UK Political Prisoners continues to grow under a gov’t and justice system that has been corrupted by vested interests.
We must kick lobbyists out of lawmaking.
Rarely have I met a kinder, more committed man than Patrick. At his wits end, he chose nonviolent protest to demand the government take radical action on climate change and stop all new oil and gas licences. They have stopped new licences but they are still sending him to prison.
Today Dr Patrick Hart, practicing GP, was imprisoned for 12 months for engaging in legitimate climate protest.
They think imprisoning climate protestors will make us back down.
But the fire in our hearts and our bellies just grows stronger for justice.

@cycloxoxford https://t.co/8zIBIKClou it only takes seconds to cause an accident. Let's take this as a reminder to be extra careful on the roads, whatever vehicle we have.
Here's our last parody song about the #USElection2024. It's called "Bohemian Trumpsody" (based on the inimitable @QueenWillRock but with only six voices & no overdubs) & we've self-trolled in it as 'libtards' already, just to save folks time who might be offended 🎶🗳️🤞

@labourlewis Yes, it's a collapse scenario. And Labour's plan is.... growth, growth, growth??? How about choosing to be the first government to face the facts and act accordingly?
