@British_Airways It’s a bit late as my husband spent his Sunday afternoon at the courier depot and finally retrieved my bags himself. I will be writing a complaint to customer services who will need to compensate me for this atrocious disruption.

Absolutely shameful behaviour by @HeathrowAirport and @British_Airways at T5 tonight. No bags being delivered to 1000’s because the baggage handlers went home at 10pm. I’d have been home at 10pm if my flight wasn’t delayed and now I am minus my baggage and meds too. DISGRACEFUL!

@British_Airways Poor reply. Of course I’ve reported it, I’m not stupid. The bags have still not arrived because your courier operator has 4K bags to deliver and can’t cope!!! Writing a response is not an apology. Try organising your contract with the baggage handlers so they don’t walk out.

@renaudmiller @HeathrowAirport @British_Airways Unbelievably atrocious isn’t it! We were travelling home from PARIS CDG, flight was cancelled outbound and delayed inbound. Then the baggage issue. My husband had to drive over to the courier depot in Slough today to retrieve my bags. Mother of all complaints is underway.

Where are my bags?!!! Your courier cannot locate them at their depot. Taking it into our own hands and turning up at the courier depot. @skynews 4000 odd bags not delivered to customers due to baggage handler walk out at 10pm on Friday 14th Aug.

@annehaddow55 Yes effected. They were supposed to deliver at 10:10am this morning, apparently a failed delivery but I was in and have a camera so can see visitors. Then they told it wasn’t on board the van and now no update other than they are trying to find my bags.

@honeybeefive @HeathrowAirport @British_Airways Same here and they supposedly tried to deliver my bags this morning which was not true, only to find they weren’t on the courier van. My husband is driving to the courier depot now to find and retrieve them as I have meds in there. Shameful @HeathrowAirport @British_Airways

@Chris33066442 @HeathrowAirport @British_Airways Yeah I know that, I’m not stupid however the medication is a larger size than is allowed through security without being seized. Plse don’t try and teach me how to travel. Have been travelling for years. Good luck if you’ve ever had an issue that deeply affects you!

@bphillipsonMP This is nothing but a political war using children as scapegoats. £8K of state school costs saved for the govmt by sending kids to private schools (already collected through taxes). This will cause utter chaos for the state school system, NOT investment! Fix the root cause!

@bphillipsonMP For every kid that does not use their place in state school education, relieves the government of £7-8K. For those of you who think we (and by that I mean middle income earners) don’t pay our way , please back this up with evidence! Oh… you don’t have any.

You need to educate yourself… I’ll give you a tip, try googling the number of parents who hold several jobs because they’ve chosen to put their kids into private for reasons other than being rich & privileged.

@bphillipsonMP “Our” strongly suggests you therefore feel ZERO responsibility for the 7% of children who go to private schools. Your position is responsible for EVERY CHILD IN EDUCATION. For reference, I see none of these you have listed above, at my son’s school.

@nectar Impossible to link card or log in for days. Customer Svcs are quoting that it’s a technical issue. Is this true and when is this going to be resolved?
