@johncanzanobft Beavers - 5 walks, 4 Hit Batters and 1 critical error, Beaver loss
And yes, Nick Lewis gave a master class in “pitching”. No walks, 1 hit batter and 1 strikeout…remarkable.
New Blazers owner Tom Dundon and the Portland City Council are currently at an impasse over fully approving Moda Center renovations:
“I would have thought it would be done by now, but they are electing to do their job and they’re going to do whatever they think is right and then we’ll respond to that,” Dundon told @Oregonian.
The Moda Center’s lease is set to expire in 2030 without this first being finalized.
People around the NBA are monitoring whether Dundon could look to move the Blazers down the road.
@nickdaschel I see both sides. If the City & County don’t get the funding in place, it opens the door to explore relocation. But I can’t imagine they’d let that happen. Then again, I don’t much faith in our elected officials to get anything done. It’s ignorant to think it can’t happen.
@ABarnesandnoble No disrespect intended, but you’re completely missing the point. If Portland doesn’t step up, there will a long line of other cities ready to pounce and pay the relocation fee. That would be the least of their concerns.
@jhassler80@billoram If the city doesn’t do their part for the funding, then Dundon has the green light to look elsewhere…and he will absolutely do that. Other cities will line up with offers MUCH better than what Oregon / Portland are offering. That’s where the “likely” part comes in.
So in the Gospel of John today, when Jesus rose from the dead, it was John who ran fastest to the tomb, not in fear, but instead in faith.
Easter is always a tremendous reminder for me, not only in the fact that Christ is Risen, but the vigorous faith that John showed when it would have been very easy for him to fear.
Despite the Challenges of my life I will always choose my faith over my fear. Thank you Mom and Dad for my name and most importantly, my faith. Hallelujah!
I’m receiving reports this morning regarding two successful campaigns that occurred over the weekend.
1. No Kings. As of this morning, there are (still) no kings in the United States of America.
2. No Dukes. As of this morning, there are no Dukes in the NCAA tournament.
@BelligeBeavs Good work fellas. I appreciate your passion and enthusiasm, not to mention all the work you did to bring this mess to the light. Today is a good day!
Even with all the devastating social problems in Portland, Ore., caused by abysmal political leadership under all leftists, the city council is boasting about its "all gender" bathrooms. https://t.co/5FFcb9VEOT
