For me there are two non-negotiables for pens:
1) Never attempt an elaborate run-up.
2) Never allow your CB (unless a technician) to take a pen when midfielders or attackers are available.
Eze, Zubimendi, Noni - not acceptable.
At this level it’s simply unacceptable.
Arsenal have completed just 69 passes in the first half, the lowest on record (since 2003/04) by any side in a UEFA Champions League final. 😅

“My relationship with my club began the same way it does for most football fans: before I was old enough to understand what I was getting myself into. When I was nine, my uncle introduced me to a team with a cannon on its shirt, a grizzled captain named Tony Adams, and players like Nwankwo Kanu who had been born in Africa but now lived somewhere else, just like me. Arsenal felt familiar before I even understood why.
“And then there was the manager, a man who I initially thought had been named after the club and then believed that somehow the club must have been named after him. Arsene Wenger may have struggled with his raincoat, but rarely with his orchestra. The football his teams played sang.
“But what was once the nostalgia of the past has become the beauty of the present.
“We won. We are champions of England. And we are just one game away from being crowned champions of Europe too.”
@ZohranKMamdani, mayor of New York City, writes for The Athletic on what Arsenal means to him.

Eid Mubarak!
Today as we honor Prophet Ibrahim, Eid al-Adha reminds us that sacrifice is not a burden. It is an opportunity to see ourselves as part of something larger. To extend a hand to those who need it most.
I am honored to be New York City's first Muslim Mayor and I am determined to lead through solidarity. Together, we are working to ensure every New Yorker can afford the groceries, housing, and child care they need.
Our solidarity is our strength. Eid Saeed, New York.
After 18 seasons, I will be returning to Florida with two years left to play.
Man, after having a great conversation with @CoachToddGolden , I’m excited to be back and have the opportunity to play again for the Florida Gators. After a long NBA career, with the new rules in place, I’ll be back on the court for the next two years.
Go Gators! 🐊😂😂😂🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
