If you are into #FadeToBlack this is the @Twitter account for you. Thomas is THE SOURCE for all things FTB. A nice guy to boot. I highly recommend @TCinCT_2012 🖤
@TheApolloTwin If you've never read it, the novelization (which includes scenes that didn't end up in the film) is available on the Internet Archive :

@juliacmarchese That's awesome! You sent me the DVD and the soundtrack CD many years ago (in a trade - I sent you a Xerox copy of Vernon Zimmerman's draft of FTB), and I *loved* your film! An excellent doc about 35mm & the film fans who worship that format! It DESERVES to be seen!!!
@juliacmarchese@DennisChristo4@WeRIntoSurvival In Ron's *excellent* novelization, he includes a scene which was edited out of FADE TO BLACK.
Eric is in the lobby of the theater, and he meets a dude dressed as a spaceman! (Richie's brother)
Here's a shot of that deleted scene:
I love 1980's FADE TO BLACK, I bought the novelization. If you haven't seen the film, please watch - @DennisChristo4 is so amazing in it.
Tell me your memories of this film/book! My podcast @WeRIntoSurvival has an episode on it & an interview with Dennis Christopher too!
@juliacmarchese One of my favorites! What's interesting is that in the stack on your wall, you have the tape right next to FTB, and the main characters in both films ride around on a scooter (Jimmy a Lambertta, Eric a Vespa) 🛵

@ClassicHBOGuide Yeah, it's odd how it has drifted into obscurity nowadays! My late grandma *loved* WN, and she would watch the film every time one of the cable tv channels aired it! She even had the soundtrack LP ! 🤣
On November 7, 1980, the cult horror film Fade To Black, starring Dennis Christopher as a movie-obsessed madman, opened in The Loop at the State-Lake Theatre. Notably, it was one of the few horror movies in 1980 to receive a positive review from Roger Ebert. It’s was a miracle.
Halloween season is the perfect time to watch FADE TO BLACK starring @DennisChristo4 .It is available on 4k HD from @ShoutFactory and streaming on PLUTO TV. Eric Binford was the OG Cosplay movie buff, in costume as his heroes and talking film trivia, 45 years ahead of his time!
