“On peut donner aux gens plus de contrôle sur les principales institutions de leur vie : les banques, les écoles, les hôpitaux, les compagnies d’assurance, les services de transport. Beaucoup de ces institutions sont sûrement conscientes…” — @robsp https://t.co/8kilQaPQUQ #DAO

Telling people who want to get involved with DAOs to "just join a Discord and start contributing" is counterproductive. It's too overwhelming.
Better to have them connect with a contributor who can give context and direct them to work with a defined scope.
Say it again! Engagement fatigue is real. Discord fatigue is real.
DAOs should have dedicated material on how exactly its contributors can be involved, with varying degrees of commitment.
And in the spirit of decentralization, your community shouldn’t live ONLY on Discord!
"The DAO operator’s dashboard should have contributor metrics such as contributor acquisition costs, number of contributions per contributor, the conversion rates between each phase in the funnel, front and center" @davincifi#DAO#DYDX V4
I wrote a piece for @dYdX looking at the governance structures used in other collectives such as co-ops and open source software communities. The learnings were extracted to identify common themes that can be learned governing communities in web3
