@__deb_by I completely agree with this, even if the parents are financially comfortable. Learn the skill and master it very well. The university would then be a playground for the skill you've learned. This is better compared to when you finish university and then go learn the skill.
@footwearhaven@waa_sere Muslims are not just killing Christians, they are killing everyone and if you think that's something to show off as a religious value, that's speak of the kind of person you are.
@omoloruloru@waa_sere What's stopping them from telling their stories? They've been doing it—movies about fake pastors, pastors who use jazz, etc. Let the public believe whatever they want. We are indifferent to whatever narratives you push as it does not reflect our values.
@AskMichaelTaiwo In the same way some children in primary schools aren't allowed to use calculators, anything AI-related should be restricted until they've reached a certain age.
@waa_sere You can't invalidate people's experiences,real-life transformations after being saved. You can't invalidate spiritual battles, people getting delivered after being possessed. You can't dismiss their encounters as casting aspersions just because they want to tell their stories.
I love how Pastor Tony Rapu is intentional about using the gospel as a means to improve the lives of people.
Iku Benny could have died in one of those street fights many years ago but 20 years later, look at him now…
@SholaAluko85@jay_mikee So you want a Christian movie from a Yoruba tribe to show Hindu traditional practices or Greek gods? Okay, noted. @jay_mikee, please take note.
BTW these movies showcase Yoruba culture—the language, the attire, the food, the houses, and so on—but they are against evil practices.
@SholaAluko85@jay_mikee Man, I still do not understand you. This movie shows the evil traditional practices and how Christians can overcome such. What has that got to do with the kidnapping? We have the army and other security forces looking into this.
@JoshuaSapienta Okay, OgunJoshua, EseTomide, we will do what we want in our movies. The good thing is that you're not under compulsion to see it. Go watch the ones that accurately depict your practices. You can also produce the ones that make Pastor Villians. It is a free world.
@JoshuaSapienta Bro you are funny, Christian movies should promote good traditionalist as per what? Lol. Christian movies calls out bad Christian behaviours as well as evil traditional encounters. You 'good' traditionalist should do well to promote yourselves. Simple.
@JoshuaSapienta Again, believe what rocks your boat about the Bible. The point of the whole conversation is simple: Christian movies would expose evil traditional practices. And if you do not support such evil practices, you shouldn't have a problem with this.
