One day, @data_republican and I took them to an amusement park. And, my special needs youngest eloped. We spent hours finding him. It was the most scary hours of my life. But we found him at the end of the day.

The first thing I returned to afterwards: I found out I’d missed a SLC Tribune commentary deadline. Whatever.

But the next day, they proceeded to make a huge point of my husband’s distillery, here’s his address wink nudge nudge.

In the end, my husband got thousands of death threats. I didn’t. He was legible and visible as an attack vector. I wasn’t.

Every now and then, I hold his hands and ask if he regrets any of this… and he says no, firmly, every time.

And his liquor is genuinely good. He was an engineer in the first place. He studies the chemistry of various ingredients to the mole and reverse engineers flavors.

ICE has CONSISTENTLY said it will arrest all illegal aliens it encounters, regardless of criminal history.

What it has said is that when local and state authorities cooperate, and ICE can make arrests of criminal aliens at locations like jails and prisons, that would reduce the extent to which ICE has to find them in the community. If ICE is forced to go into the community, it will arrest ALL illegal aliens it encounters. To do otherwise would be selective enforcement.

The arrest and removals you are complaining of are these community arrests that are happening because ICE must go into the communities in jurisdictions where they do not get local cooperation.
