Check out this Ford Flathead, the original hot rod motivation, submitted by one of our members. This V8 engine was introduced in 1932 and built through 1953. Why is it called a "Flathead"? Because the cylinder heads are flat, of course!

It's Memorial Day weekend, and to celebrate, we'd like to share Wayne Rosenkrans' WWII MB Truck, 4x4 "Jeep." One special detail The blue canister is a decontaminator. Soldiers would wear a gas mask and use it to neutralize any hydrochloric acid on the seats from chlorine gas.
