I don’t post a lot about my oldest daughter and her journey dealing with Autism and ADHD but last night was special
She made her Jr High hoops debut and even got a rebound! We talk a lot about the “process”, that girl has consistently worked and done therapy for almost a decade!
The Summer of Adventure is so busy! And Day 5 didn’t disappoint. Spent all day on the river, at Bass Pro and grilling in the backyard.
Your kids want to be outside doing things with you!
Full disclosure: I LOVE beers! I can tie one on with the best of ‘em. On Feb 1 I felt pretty good with a tan and a buzz.
But 3 months w/o alcohol and holy crap! 46yo and abs! Feeling amazing mentally.
Now pounding 4000 calories per day with guidance from @DylanSpina61
LFG!
Day 4 of the Summer of Adventure!
Our 1st full family piano lessons! The young’uns will learn a lot from their big sis.
Maybe they’re the next Hanson??? 🤣
Day 3 of the “Summer of Adventure”!
5am workout (for me!) then morning prayer and exercise for the girls.
The young’uns went to an end of school party so me and 13 hit the road for a 5mi bike ride.
Don’t waste a single day!
This is exactly why focusing on improving yourself and taking care of your kids/family is priority #1.
Politics are a joke, complaining about them doesn’t even move the needle.
But you damn well can make a difference in your kids lives. Start today!
Day 2 of the Summer of Adventure.
“No iPad Tuesday”, morning stretches including situps with jabs and a run
Piano practice time and hopefully a trip to the pool. And we’re just getting started!
