An @rcmpgrcpolice officer was recently dismissed for using #ChatGPT to help draft all his police reports.

He wasn't fired for the usage itself, but for entering very sensitive investigative and private information into an unapproved external system.

The concern was data security, privacy, and evidence integrity.

The RCMP concealed it. They don't want anyone to find out that statements, home address, contact details etc are feed into this system.

So ... please ... and I mean this ... please ... just keep it between you and me. You can't tell anyone.
