Today marks 57 years since the Stonewall Riots, the protests which called for the fight for LGBTQ rights, took place on June 28, 1969. Progress has been made since then, but the struggle for LGBTQ rights is still ongoing.

I enjoyed revisiting this book. James and the Giant Peach is one of my favorite Dahl books I’ve read as a kid. Short and easy to read through. Right amount of charm, adventure, fright, peril, and fun for kids and adults.
