Don’t go to God weak, intimidated, telling Him how you don’t measure up. Go boldly. Go with confidence, knowing that you’re forgiven, knowing that He’s for you.

[Joel Osteen @JoelOsteen]

You don’t have to see how; all you have to do is believe. When you believe, angels go to work. When you believe, forces of darkness are pushed back. When you believe, things begin to change in your favor.

You have to call people what they can become before they’ll ever change. Call your child blessed, call him disciplined, call him focused, call him successful. That friend that’s addicted, start calling him free, whole, victorious.

Instead of dwelling on all the negatives—the worry, the past, the problem, the addiction—start dwelling on the greatness of our God. In Scripture David said, “I don’t look to the mountains for help; I look to the God who made the mountains.”
