This season’s thoughts:

I want to start off by saying that tonight’s result does not take away from the great season this team had and all they accomplished. Auburn won 27 games and were crowned SEC Tournament Champions.

Individually:

I have to start with Jaylin Williams. In his time at Auburn, Jaylin reached 1000+ points, 500+ rebounds, 200+ assists, 100+ blocks and 90 steals. He is the winningest player in Auburn Basketball history and a great Auburn man.

Johni Broome took the biggest leap of any basketball player under Bruce Pearl I have seen. He has become one of the of the greatest to ever wear an Auburn jersey. One of the greats 🧹

Dylan Cardwell has been elite defending the rim and brings such great energy. His passion is unmatched.

Denver Jones grew so much during the season and was really growing into an elite defender and a great iso offensive weapon.

Chad Baker-Mazara brought such energy on both ends of the floor. He added a scoring option at the 3 Auburn hasn’t had in some time. He completely embraced this fanbase and the Auburn love.

Chaney Johnson proved a lot of people wrong. He really developed in a way that has me confident in him being the man at the 4 next season.

Tre Donaldson made it clear how much work he put in this offseason. He improved every aspect of his game and hit timely shot after timely shot at big moments.

KD Johnson has been so good for Auburn this year. He created chaos and energy night after night. We love our psychopath.

Aden Holloway showed some great things in spurts and at times showed what his potential can be in the future.

Lior stepped up in a larger role when it mattered and was playing his best basketball before he went down.

Can’t forget Chris Moore. CMo was so good late in the season and into the post season. He plays with such passion and effort.

With all that being said, War Eagle today, War Eagle tomorrow, War Eagle forever 🦅
