To celebrate @WorldBookDayUK 3MC had a very different Thursday morning ! They had an online lesson with author @bowie_sarah learning how to illustrate. The children really enjoyed the experience 📚

This week we hosted Reading Cafes' for the first time for all year groups. In celebration of Mother's Day we were delighted that so many mums,aunties, grandmas and nanas were able to take time out of their day to come to read with the children #readingforpleasure @WorldBookDayUK

As part of our @WorldBookDayUK celebrations, we held a paper plate competition where the children designed a plate as a book character. There were so many fabulous entries that it was really hard to chose winners who received Waterstones vouchers,stationery + bookmarks! #reading

What an amazing grand opening of the Fairfield Reading Cafe, which is incorporating #InternationalWomenday2024 ,@WorldBookDayUK & Mothers’ Day . We’ve really enjoyed welcoming mums, aunties, grandmas & nanas into school to spend time reading with our pupils.#readingforpleasure
